O-I is seeking an IT professional to define functional SAP SD business processes for a designated area, collaborating with business customers, users, and architects. You will provide full life-cycle support and produce system documentation.

You will work on translation of requirements into designs, test conditions, and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality and continuity across order-to-cash processes within a global packaging leader.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related discipline.
• Advanced English language skills.
• 5+ years IT experience supporting SAP-based commercial and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation.
• In-depth expertise with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
• Strong knowledge of sales order processing, delivery, invoicing, pricing, and customer master data.
• Hands-on experience with eDocument Cockpit and tax reporting solutions in SAP.
• EDI experience is a plus.
• OpenText Vendor Invoice Management familiarity is a plus.

Job Description

You will work with the business customers, users, technical architects, and application designers to define the functional business process requirements for the SAP system within a designated functional area.

In this position you will provide full life-cycle support, as well as creating system documentation, including operating procedures, functional and technical design specifications, and technical support documentation.

Principal Accountabilities

• Works with the business stake holders and delivery managers to understand business requirements in detail.
• Serves as primary IT contact and lead role for customer-facing projects
• Leads the transitioning requirements and use cases to the designers, and ensures a clear and complete understanding of the requirements are passed on.
• Translates requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
• Participates in quality reviews, including management and peer level, as outlined in the verification and validation overview, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements
• Trouble shoots, debugs, tests the existing solutions to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with other IT teams for integration, development and cross functional requirements
• Effectively utilize new and existing technology to design solutions that are fit for purpose in supporting the needs of the commercial and order to cash organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, supporting business enabled processes in commercial and order to cash processes in SAP.
• Experience with end to end full life cycle SAP implementation.
• In-depth expertise with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
• Strong knowledge of sales order processing, delivery, invoicing, pricing, and customer master data.
• Hands-on experience with eDocument Cockpit and tax reporting solutions in SAP.
• EDI experience is considered a plus.
• Familiarity in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management is a plus.
