EXIT83 is seeking a senior Ruby on Rails engineer in LATAM to support a high-priority Rails application. This hands-on role involves working with an established codebase, solving production problems, and delivering meaningful improvements that the team will feel immediately.

You’ll dive into mature Rails logic, refactor for stability, and collaborate with existing engineers to unblock progress, while maintaining production reliability and high-quality standards.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with large, mature, or legacy Rails applications.
• Strong understanding of Rails conventions and ActiveRecord.
• Proficient debugging in real-world codebases.
• Experience deploying Rails apps on Heroku.
• Able to ramp up quickly and deliver impact.
• Clear communicator who works well with distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on work in a mature Ruby on Rails application on Heroku.
• Improve and refactor Rails logic to increase stability and maintainability.
• Tackle high-impact technical challenges slowing the team down.
• Help reduce technical debt in critical areas of the codebase.
• Collaborate closely with existing engineers to unblock progress.
