BairesDev is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end test strategy and planning, ensuring the highest quality across complex software products. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution to mitigate risks and streamline releases.

The role emphasizes multi-layer testing (UI, API, performance), risk-based prioritization, and leadership to foster a culture of quality across a global, 100% remote team.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Proficiency in multi-layer testing across UI, API, and performance environments.
• Strong experience in team leadership and managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of risk-based testing methodologies to prioritize functionalities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and govern comprehensive, multi-layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Lead the identification and assessment of product risks to prioritize testing efforts on critical business functionalities.
• Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring rigorous tracking, communication, and resolution of quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with project roadmaps and delivery timelines.
• Define and refine QA processes and standards to improve team velocity and software reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of quality excellence.
