Intellias Colombia is hiring senior backend engineers to build scalable Python-based services with FastAPI, asyncio, and microservices. You will design secure APIs, optimize MongoDB models, and integrate with healthcare and identity platforms in a fully remote setup.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python (3.11/3.12+) and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and asynchronous programming.
• Strong REST API, distributed systems, and microservices understanding.
• Production MongoDB experience; Beanie or similar ODM.
• Auth techs: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT.
• Docker and Docker Compose in production.
• CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Testing with Pytest and modern code quality practices.
• Collaborative Agile team experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build high-performance APIs and microservices for secure data exchange.
• Model MongoDB data schemas for high-volume workloads.
• Integrate with healthcare systems, identity providers, and cloud services.
• Implement secure authentication/authorization (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT).
• Enhance backend with FHIR-based interoperability where applicable.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to boost productivity without compromising quality.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure observability and reliability.
