Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia is seeking a Senior Backend Middleware Developer to join our engineering team. You will build scalable backend integrations, APIs, and messaging solutions while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable software.

This backend-focused role emphasizes distributed systems, middleware, and enterprise integrations, with no frontend responsibilities. You will apply best practices, participate in unit and integration testing, code reviews,

Formación

3–5 years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python.
Experience building backend services, middleware, or system-to-system integrations.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Exposure to NoSQL databases.
Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
Experience using Redis for caching or backend performance optimization.
Comfortable working in backend-only environments.
Understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code and design principles.
Experience participating in software development processes, including: Unit testing, Integration testing, Code reviews, Bug fixing and validation.
