Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia is seeking a Senior Backend Middleware Developer to join our engineering team. You will build scalable backend integrations, APIs, and messaging solutions while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable software.

This backend-focused role emphasizes distributed systems, middleware, and enterprise integrations, with no frontend responsibilities. You will apply best practices, participate in unit and integration testing, code reviews,

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python.
• Experience building backend services, middleware, or system-to-system integrations.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
• Experience using Redis for caching or backend performance optimization.
• Comfortable working in backend-only environments.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code and design principles.
• Experience participating in software development processes, including: Unit testing, Integration testing, Code reviews, Bug fixing and validation.
