Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and operate distributed, integration-heavy systems in customer-controlled cloud environments.

You will work with Kotlin or Java on JVM, primarily using Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS services. Strong focus on AI-assisted development with Claude Code and code-review tools, ensuring security and maintainability.

Formación

• 8+ years of backend software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Deep JVM experience with Kotlin or Java; Spring Boot experience required.
• Design, implement and troubleshoot distributed, integration-heavy systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills; REST APIs experience.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS).
• Automated testing discipline; CI/CD and production releases.
