International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Colombia seeks a Senior Project Associate to coordinate and monitor project delivery in the North-Eastern region. You will lead activities, engage with local authorities, partners, and UN agencies, and ensure adherence to donor and policy guidelines.

The role requires a blend of leadership, strategic coordination, and field operations experience, with English, French, and Spanish languages valued.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or a related field with five years' relevant experience.
Alternatively, a High School diploma with seven years of relevant professional experience.

Responsabilidades

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of IOM projects in Colombia's North-Eastern region, ensuring effective delivery and compliance.
Lead and independently manage project activities, analyzing challenges and proposing field-ready solutions.
Research national/international developments and prepare briefing notes and reports.
Monitor budget expenditures and ensure alignment with donor requirements.
Plan and conduct capacity-building workshops and coordinate with government platforms and partners.
Prepare correspondence, presentations, and narrative/financial reports; supervise reporting staff.
