The Colombian Branch delivers IT services to Allianz Seguros S.A. and Allianz Seguros de Vida S.A., with the potential to expand its services to other Allianz Group entities.
Responsibilities
- Technology Program Management: Design, plan, and execute technology programs aligned with Allianz Technology’s strategic objectives, ensuring effective integration across technology initiatives.
- Oversee delivery of technology solutions, ensuring they are completed within defined scope, timelines, and budget.
- Lead cross‑functional and multicultural teams, fostering collaboration, high performance, and talent development.
- Stakeholder management: build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and technology vendors.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, cloud, and big data.
- Ensure technology programs drive innovation and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Lead technology change management: adoption of new solutions, proactive management of resistance to change.
- Ensure program alignment with business and technology priorities, including governance, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Financial, resource, and vendor management: manage program budgets, optimize resource allocation, assess and mitigate financial and operational risks, manage contracts with third parties, and oversee service provider relationships and contractual frameworks.
- Manage tools and documentation to track contract change processes, ensuring traceability, auditability, and compliance with internal and external regulations; support the Business Owner in monitoring vendor relationship and evaluating service provider performance.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Program and Portfolio Management (PMI or other recognized frameworks).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT environments and architectures.
- Experience working with agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Program financial management.
- Vendor and contract management.
Leadership Skills
- Clear and structured executive communication.
- Decision‑making capability in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills without formal authority.
- Proven experience managing multicultural and remote teams.
- Results‑driven mindset with a strong focus on business value.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in project management, technology, or related areas is preferred.
- Advanced level of English (mandatory).
- More than 8 years of experience in project and program management, preferably within local and regional environments.
- Proven experience leading global or regional programs with multiple stakeholders in a technology‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing innovative technology solutions and managing digital transformation initiatives.
- Previous experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is highly desirable.
Certifications (Valued)
- PMP / PgMP certifications.
- Agile / Scrum certifications, preferably at scale.
- Technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or DevOps‑related certifications).
