Allianz Technology in Bogotá is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their Local Finance Team. You will be responsible for general accounting activities, preparation, and analysis of financial statements, and supporting the closing process in compliance with relevant laws and local GAAP.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and be fluent in English. This role offers connectivity assistance, health insurance, and a bonus of 15 days of salary.

Formación

• Strong academic background in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting with IT Service Industry or audit firm experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an international team and demonstrate strong communication skills.

About The Job

In your role you will be part of the Local Finance Team and report to the Regional Accounting Officer of the Latam Region of Allianz Technology SE, the IT provider for all Allianz entities. You will support and perform the monthly closing activities, including liaison with key departments and our near‑ and offshore teams as well as the central team in Munich. All accounting matters such as asset accounting, provisions, capitalization and closing related procedures, as well as a solid foundation of IFRS and knowledge of local GAAP are part of your responsibilities. This highly dynamic environment offers the chance to contribute ideas for new processes and controls, work with different Allianz teams, apply best practices, and engage in international projects and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
• Create preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual account closures according to relevant laws, local GAAP/IFRS.
• Test and provide functional support for relevant SAP modules (FI/CO/MM).

• Double entries bookings
• Account payables and receivables bookings
• Bank account reconciliations
• Steering of the closing process
• Planning and execution of the annual close
• Asset capitalization management
• Preparation of management reports
• Coordination and collaboration with auditors

Requirements

• Strong academic background (e.g. Accounting, Economics, Business Administration)
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting (IT Service Industry or audit firm a plus)
• Ability to work in an international team in a global set‑up
• Strong communication and intercultural skills

Salary benchmark for the position: $6.800.000 COP (depending on the profile of the candidate)
