AECOM in Bogotá, D.C. is seeking a highly experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our Plumbing Engineering Team.

You will lead the design and implementation of plumbing and hydraulic systems for infrastructure projects and large-scale buildings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires eight years of experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and strong BIM expertise using Revit MEP and AutoCAD to deliver models at LOD 300 or higher.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in plumbing/hydraulic engineering for infrastructure projects and large-scale buildings.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD with hands-on experience using hydraulic calculation tools.
• Proficiency in software such as EPANET, Revit MEP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of local and international plumbing and drainage standards.
• Proven BIM delivery experience with models at LOD 300 or higher.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of foul drainage and piping systems.
• Design and optimize hot and cold water piping systems for large projects.
• Design pumped water supply, drainage, and rainwater systems.
• Integrate greywater recycling into projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydraulic designs.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation for stakeholders.
• Design drainage for mechanical equipment and building services.
• Develop resource estimates and design deliverables plans.
