Atoms is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer to support the design, construction, rollout, and maintenance of our commercial kitchen facilities in Bogotá. You will design domestic water, natural gas, sanitary sewer, grease waste, and drainage systems to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of sites.

You will collaborate with Architecture, MEP, Development, Construction, and Operations teams to deliver code-compliant, cost-effective designs.

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in plumbing systems design, construction, or commissioning.
• Experience designing domestic water, fire water, natural gas, standpipe, sanitary and sewage, and grease waste systems.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, hydraulic calculations, and plumbing system performance.
• Experience sizing grease interceptors, water heaters, gas services, and distribution systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and coordinate plumbing systems including domestic water, gas, sanitary sewer, grease waste, drainage, and pumping systems.
• Perform facility due diligence to evaluate utility capacity, existing infrastructure, and redevelopment opportunities.
• Create and maintain construction documents, design packages, and engineering details using Revit and related platforms.
• Review consultant and EOR design packages for alignment with Atoms standards and cost objectives.
• Coordinate with AHJs, utilities, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout design and construction.
• Support construction teams through permitting, bidding, construction administration, and turnover.
