Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to strengthen our Kubernetes platform operations and CI/CD ecosystem. You will scale cloud-native infrastructure, enforce IaC standards with Terraform, and optimize deployments in AWS.

You will operate production Kubernetes clusters, boost observability with Prometheus and Grafana, onboard teams, and build reusable GitHub Actions workflows to minimize deployment risk.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes clusters in production.
• 3+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Strong Terraform IaC knowledge including state management and governance.
• Proficiency with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS).
• Familiarity with secrets management and secure configuration practices.
• DevOps/SRE practices for high availability systems.
• Cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
• Improve cluster scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Enhance observability with metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Onboard teams and enable platform workflows.
• Design/refactor scale GitHub Actions pipelines and reusable workflows.
• Minimize deployment risk through automation, validation, and testing.
• Maintain Terraform-based infrastructure and state management.
• Assist with environment provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Manage AWS services (networking, IAM, compute, storage).
• Participate in incident troubleshooting and RCAs.
