Job summary

Euronet is seeking a Payment Switch Processing Support Expert for the Latam region. This senior role requires 8–12 years in payments and transaction switching, with deep technical and functional expertise to ensure high availability and reliable processing across switching platforms.

You will monitor real-time transaction flows, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with banks and networks, and drive continuous improvement, automation, and smooth deployments for mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• 12-14 years of experience in IT/application production support or managed services.
• Proven track record in managing customer-facing support operations in a global environment.
• Strong expertise in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Delivery Management).
• Experience in leading distributed and cross-regional teams.
• Strong understanding of production environments and critical business applications.
• Domain experience in payments or transaction processing systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payment transaction processing across switching platforms (card, ATM, POS, digital).
• Monitor real-time transaction flows and ensure system uptime and performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transaction failures, reversals, and settlement issues.
• Ensure minimal disruption to operations through proactive detection and resolution of issues.
• Handle L1/L2 issues related to payment switch processing and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis for failures, latency, and system errors.
• Coordinate with banks, networks, and internal teams for issue resolution and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate monitoring, alerting, and reconciliation processes.
