BairesDev is hiring a Senior Java & Cloud Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud services across major public cloud platforms. You will guide architectural decisions and ensure backend services are robust and distributed.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, driving technical execution, and optimizing for availability and cost efficiency in a 100% remote setting.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Java Development or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in Java and designing complex cloud services.
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and containerization using Docker.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical execution.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and develop high-performance cloud services and distributed backend systems.
• Design and deploy containerized applications to maintain resilient cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering team members to foster technical growth.
• Drive key architectural decisions and technical alignment across engineering squads.
• Optimize systems for high availability, performance, and cost-effective cloud resource usage.
