Intellias Colombia SAS is hiring a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable Spring Boot microservices in a distributed environment. You will build event-driven data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native services on AWS, with robust testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration across a remote, international team is expected. The role emphasizes ownership, end-to-end delivery, and strong communication in English, with benefit from training, certifications, and 100% remote work

Formación

• 6+ years designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend services in production.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Kotlin, and Docker in distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and event-driven architectures including Kafka/Kinesis.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Spring Boot microservices in a distributed architecture.
• Build and operate event-driven data processing pipelines for streaming data.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Work with AWS cloud services to design reliable, scalable backend systems.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL and DynamoDB schemas for performance and integrity.
• Implement and maintain automated testing strategies (unit and integration).
• Contribute to and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.
• Collaborate effectively in a distributed team and own features end-to-end.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and promote engineering best practices.
