World Kinect is seeking a highly skilled Lead, IT Software Developer IV in Bogotá to drive technical excellence in our aviation flight planning domain. This senior individual contributor role focuses on solving complex engineering challenges, mentoring engineers, and shaping the technical direction of our products.

You’ll own end-to-end technical solutions, partner with Architects and Product Owners, improve legacy systems, and strengthen CI/CD and secure development practices while remaining

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement complex features and systems from architecture through production deployment.
• Own technical solutions end-to-end using Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
• Build proofs-of-concept and prototypes to evaluate new approaches and technologies.
• Lead efforts to modernize, refactor, and optimize legacy applications and frameworks.
• Partner with Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering Leadership to define technical roadmaps and future-state solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations that align engineering decisions with business objectives.
