Consultec-Ti in Colombia seeks an SDET / Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing strategies for modernizing enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will build scalable test frameworks, improve software quality, and enable reliable releases throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or QA roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web apps built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to ensure full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and compatibility changes during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web apps, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze results, report quality metrics, and communicate risks.
• Promote test automation best practices and maintain test documentation.
