Banco de Bogota is seeking an experienced SDET/Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing strategies as the enterprise modernizes from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and a Tech Lead to build scalable automation frameworks and ensure reliable releases.

The role involves validating application functionality, reducing regression risk, and supporting continuous delivery efforts across web applications, APIs, and services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years in SDET, automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web apps built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to ensure full coverage of applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and dependency updates during modernization.
• Execute tests against web apps, APIs, and services.
• Analyze results, report metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices across squads.
• Create and maintain test documentation and release readiness artifacts.
