OfferUp is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer II to join the Business team, with remote work from Colombia. You’ll own features end-to-end, from design to deployment, across React front-end and Java-backed services, collaborating with cross-functional partners.

You will work with AI coding tools, contribute to experiments, and mentor newer engineers while aiming for high-quality, scalable solutions across our five business verticals.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Ability to own delivery of multiple features end-to-end (plan, design, develop, deploy).
• Strong full-stack skills: React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS; responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Java and microservices fundamentals.
• Experience building/integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in a real engineering workflow.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deploy new user experiences and backend services across our five business verticals using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, and Java.
• Own features end-to-end: plan, design, develop, deploy, measure, and iterate.
• Break down complex engineering problems into achievable tasks and deliver them within committed timeframes.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to design and implement new features.
• Contribute to A/B tests and use results to decide what ships.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold good patterns, testing, and edge-case handling.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and interns.
• Create shared components and services to improve team velocity.
