Applaudo in Medellín is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications within established architectures. You will understand codebases quickly and deliver production-ready solutions with minimal guidance, collaborating across backend and frontend teams.

You bring 6+ years of experience, deep Python proficiency, RESTful API design, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, and frontend contributions with Vue.js and TypeScript.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack/Backend/Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building backend apps with Python.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and best practices.
• Experience building serverless apps using AWS Lambda.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Experience contributing to frontend with Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to understand codebases and work independently.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for cloud-based applications and integrations.
• Analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
• Develop software following established architectural standards and engineering practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain production systems.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver reliable APIs and end-to-end functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and identify improvements and risks.
• Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js as part of a full stack team.
• Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
