FPT Latin America is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Java backend expertise to accelerate customer adoption of an enterprise Data Observability Platform. You will own features from backend to frontend, translate customer requirements, and ensure production readiness.

The role involves building REST APIs with Java/Quarkus, crafting modern frontends with React/Next.js, and designing robust database schemas in PostgreSQL.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full stack ownership across backend and frontend features.
• Proven REST API experience with Java and modern JVM frameworks.
• Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot or similar JVM frameworks.
• Solid React/TypeScript frontend skills and Next.js experience.
• Database design, migrations and query optimization in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on Docker and containerized development workflows.
• Experience building integration tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kafka/Redpanda or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to deliver customer-driven features with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer and Sales requirements into production-ready features.
• Own end-to-end features across Java backend, APIs, and React frontend.
• Build REST APIs and backend services using Java and Quarkus.
• Develop frontend experiences with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Design DB schemas, migrations, and optimized queries in PostgreSQL.
• Implement customer-specific integrations and deployment configurations.
• Participate in code reviews focusing on security, performance, and test coverage.
• Extend Quarkus integration tests and k6 performance tests.
• Automate validation and reduce manual testing where possible.
• Work with Kafka-compatible technologies like Redpanda.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering quality standards.
