CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC, seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Colombia to build scalable enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with US-based teams to design, develop, and support logistics and inventory solutions using Java, JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

The ideal candidate excels in cloud-native engineering, observability, and distributed systems, while contributing to production support and platform modernization.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript development.
• Experience with React and modern frontend practices.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and backend services.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.
• Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and containerized deployment.
• Experience with Kafka or other event streaming technologies; observability with New Relic and Splunk.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Node.js, NPM, and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Strong debugging and production-support capabilities.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with globally distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Build reusable frontend components and optimize performance across platforms.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations for logistics and inventory workflows.
• Write automated tests, troubleshoot defects, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives; mentor juniors.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability with tools like New Relic and Splunk.
• Support containerized deployments with Kubernetes in AWS and GCP environments.
• Work with Kafka for real-time data streaming and distributed communication.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for faster delivery.
• Lead platform upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Adhere to cloud security and operational best practices.
