Medtronic’s Sales Finance Center of Excellence (COE) in Bogotá seeks an experienced FP&A professional to support 12 Operating Units across Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Medical Surgical portfolios, and the Global Commercial Operations (GCO). You’ll drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and expense analysis with a focus on data-driven insights.

This role is a flex work model in Bogotá, offering collaboration with global partners and a chance to contribute to best-in-class FP&A support

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Four years of FP&A experience.
  • FP&A experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and Medtronic accounting policies.
  • Familiarity with SAP and OneStream systems.
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Support Sales Organizations with financial planning, forecasting, and expense reporting.
  • Manage forecast and Annual Operating Plan submissions in OneStream.
  • Develop and maintain monthly reporting and journal entry templates.
  • Create standardized reporting and analytics across Operating Units.
  • Oversee FP&A for centrally managed costs and cost centers.
  • Collaborate with Systems team to optimize tools and reporting.
  • Use data to drive continuous process improvements.

Medtronic’s Sales Finance Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an experienced and motivated financial professional to support 12 diverse Operating Units across Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Medical Surgical portfolios, and the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization. As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate with internal business partners to drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and expense analysis. Responsibilities


  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Support Sales Organizations with financial planning, forecasting, and expense reporting

  • OneStream Ownership:Manage all forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) system submissions

  • Monthly Reporting & Analysis:Develop and maintain monthly reporting and journal entry templates; provide ad hoc analysis as needed

  • Standardized Reporting:Create and sustain standardized reporting and analytics to streamline processes across all Operating Units

  • Centralized Expenses:Oversee FP&A activities for centrally managed costs (e.g., auto reimbursement, Presidents Club, credentialing, property taxes)

  • Cost Center Management:Administer all aspects of cost centers, including structure, ownership, and allocations

  • Systems Collaboration:Partner with the Systems team to optimize tools and reporting capabilities

  • Continuous Improvement:Utilize data and insights to drive ongoing process enhancements


Required Knowledge and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

  • Four years of experience supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Support Sales Organizations with financial planning, forecasting, and expense reporting

  • FP&A experience is advantageous

  • Expertise in leveraging systems and data for insightful analysis

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; adept at multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities

  • Knowledge of GAAP and Medtronic accounting policies

  • Ability to standardize work processes and procedures

  • Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems (SAP, OneStream)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to complete standard and repetitive tasks efficiently
