Job summary

Salvatech is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across multiple engineering teams supporting a large-scale remediation program for a U.S. healthcare tech company.

The role oversees up to three PODs in a hybrid AWS/on-prem environment; you will set standards, guide remediation strategy, and ensure quality across teams. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of engineering experience, advanced English, and a proven track record in security remediation and program leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in infra, platform, or security remediation.
• Advanced English level (spoken and written).
• Breadth across AWS + on-prem and Java/.NET for triage and directing findings.
• Strong security-remediation judgment to distinguish architectural fixes from local ones.
• Track record of setting technical standards followed by others.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction across up to three concurrent engineering PODs.
• Set triage, sizing, and prioritization standards; oversee queues and adjudicate high-impact findings.
• Make proper-fix vs configuration-change calls and set technical direction across PODs.
• Direct and unblock POD engineers; maintain a consistent quality bar across the cluster.
• Define change-control and remediation-evidence standards and approve high-risk changes.
• Sequence work across PODs with client release cycles in mind.
• Serve as senior technical interface to client application/platform owners.
• Track remediation progress, risk, and reporting across PODs.
