Job summary

Accelya is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer to own remediation across our AWS environment. You will work with engineering and DevOps to fix vulnerabilities, triage CSPM findings, and contribute to security architecture reviews. This role requires strong communication across technical teams and fluent English.

You will operate in a hybrid Bogota setting, collaborating with platform teams to close gaps quickly and durably, including incident response and automation where feasible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, KMS, S3, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector).
• Direct experience remediating CSPM/CNAPP findings (Upwind, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Orca, or similar).
• Experience analyzing and remediating code-level vulnerabilities (SAST/SCA).
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or CloudFormation; able to fix misconfigurations in code.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash for automation and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze code for security vulnerabilities and remediate with development teams.
• Triage and drive remediation of CSPM findings across AWS accounts and services.
• Own remediation runbooks and ensure root-cause fixes are implemented.
• Contribute to incident investigations using CloudTrail and VPC Flow Logs; support containment and remediation.
• Participate in cloud security architecture reviews and provide risk-based design recommendations.
