CI&T Software S.A. is seeking a Senior Data Developer (Databricks) to own a mission-critical data platform supporting client reporting and analytics.

You will work deeply in the Databricks ecosystem from ingestion to modeled dimensional layers, serving as the technical backbone for the team with a focus on scalable, well-tested pipelines. You will blend hands-on execution with leadership, reviewing code, solving production issues, and shaping architecture.

Formación

• Solid experience in data development with hands-on production Databricks experience.
• Proficient in PySpark (DataFrame API, Spark SQL, UDFs, window functions) and Databricks SQL.
• Experience with Delta Lake including MERGE/upsert, ACID, time travel and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimensions and star/snowflake dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience with medallion architecture, notebooks, jobs/workflows, and Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with Azure services (Key Vault, Data Lake Storage) and Git-based CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve notebooks across Stage, Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers from ingestion to dimensional model for BI reporting.
• Lead design and extension of dimensional modeling artifacts (facts, dimensions, SCDs).
• Review code in PRs, enforce performance and architectural standards.
• Manage deployments across Dev/QA/UAT/PROD environments and maintain deployment records.
• Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
• Maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines; keep technical docs up to date.
• Mentor team members and serve as technical reference for data platform topics.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable pipelines.
