CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Developer (Databricks) to own and evolve a mission-critical data platform enabling client reporting and analytics. You will work deeply in the Databricks ecosystem, from raw ingestion to a fully modeled dimensional layer, serving as the technical backbone for the team.

This role blends hands-on execution with technical leadership, proposing architectural improvements while troubleshooting production jobs and deploying across environments.

Formación

• Solid experience with Databricks and production data platforms.
• Hands-on PySpark, Spark SQL, UDFs, and performance tuning.
• Delta Lake implementation including MERGE, ACID, and time travel.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and star schema concepts.
• Exposure to medallion architecture and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Ability to navigate a large legacy codebase and collaborate with US-based stakeholders.
• Advanced English communication skills (C1+).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and improve data pipelines end-to-end from ingestion to dimensional layer.
• Own data pipeline ownership across Stage/Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Design and implement dimensional modeling artifacts for BI.
• Review code, enforce quality, and manage deployments across environments.
• Monitor production jobs and troubleshoot issues with platform tools.
• Maintain documentation and act as technical reference for the team.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable pipelines.
