Job summary

Applaudo Studios is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a temporary contract (Nov 2, 2026–Dec 31, 2026) to transform complex data into actionable insights. You will work across cloud environments, build ML models, and design Power BI dashboards to inform strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliable analytics, delivering clear recommendations to stakeholders in English and Spanish as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform for data processing and analytics.
• Advanced Python skills for data manipulation, modeling, and ML.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, prep, transformation, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience developing statistical models and ML algorithms for insights and forecasts.
• Experience collecting and transforming data from multiple sources while ensuring quality.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication to explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• B2+ English proficiency.

Note: This is a temporary, full-time opportunity from November 2 through December 31, 2026.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
