Job summary

Applaudo is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to transform complex datasets into actionable insights for business decisions on a temporary contract from November 2 to December 31, 2026. You will balance hands-on data preparation, modeling, and visualization in GCP and Power BI.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, translate problems into analytical approaches, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for data processing and analytics.
• Advanced Python skills for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, data preparation, transformation, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience developing statistical models and machine learning algorithms to generate insights and forecasts.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• B2+ English proficiency, both written and spoken.
