Applaudo seeks a Senior Data Scientist to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that power business decisions. You will blend data prep, statistical modeling, ML, and visualization to turn challenges into practical solutions.

You’ll work across cloud data environments, collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, and deliver dashboards in Power BI while ensuring data quality and reliable analytics in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/Statistics/Math or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data processing/analytics.
• Advanced Python and SQL proficiency for data manipulation, modeling, and querying.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI.
• Experience developing statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience collecting/cleaning data from multiple sources with data quality.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and recommendations.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Native Spanish and B2+ English proficiency.

You are a Senior Data Scientist who enjoys transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support better business decisions. You combine strong analytical thinking with a hands‑on approach to data preparation, statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization, turning business challenges into practical, data‑driven solutions.

You are comfortable working across cloud‑based data environments, exploring information from multiple sources, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability throughout the analytical process. You enjoy collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, communicating complex findings clearly, and developing solutions that help organizations make informed decisions.

Note: This is a temporary, full‑time opportunity from November 2 through December 31, 2026.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for data processing and analytics.
• Advanced Python skills for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, data preparation, transformation, and optimization.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience developing statistical models and machine learning algorithms to generate insights and forecasts.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• B2+ English proficiency, both written and spoken.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to align data science solutions with organizational objectives.
• Translate business challenges into practical data science approaches and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with relevant tools and methodologies in data science, cloud analytics, and data visualization.
