VRChat LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive strategic product decisions across growth, UX, creator, and economy verticals. You will work with large production datasets, build data products, and deliver insights on a fast-paced team in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science or analytics, strong SQL and Python/R, and a track record of building dashboards and self-serve analytics.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, data analytics, or related analytical role.
• Expert SQL skills and strong proficiency with Python or R for analysis, experimentation, modeling, automation, and reproducible workflows.
• Strong product sense with ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses, metrics, experiments, and recommendations.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments, including A/B tests and guardrail metrics.
• Experience building dashboards, reporting systems, reusable analyses, or data products that help stakeholders self-serve.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytical workflows and notes on using LLMs or agents for analysis, documentation, or automation.
• Strong judgment around data quality, reproducibility, privacy, and AI limitations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence senior audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Define high-impact product questions, success metrics, and decision frameworks with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze user behavior, creator activity, content ecosystems, retention, growth, monetization, and social dynamics.
• Design and analyze experiments, including A/B tests and causal measurement approaches.
• Define and improve core product metrics, dashboards, and recurring reporting.
• Build durable analytical assets such as notebooks, data marts, metric definitions, and self-serve dashboards.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate analysis and automate repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and product teams to improve data quality and source-of-truth definitions.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and influence product decisions.
