EPAM Systems is seeking a Data Science Consultant in Colombia to lead ML/AI strategy across client projects. You will direct design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, align technologies with business goals, and drive enterprise-wide AI adoption.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with clients, and oversee project transitions from sales to delivery while staying abreast of regulatory considerations and industry best practices.

Formación

• At least 12 years of leadership experience in Data Analytics, ML, and AI
• Hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Knowledge of SQL and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience leading geographically distributed AI teams
• Ability to persuade senior stakeholders to fund ML/AI projects
• Excellent ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with regulated industries or compliance functions
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into ML/AI applications

Responsabilidades

• Lead ML/AI strategy development and execution for client projects
• Create responsible AI systems and metrics aligned with client goals
• Coordinate AI integration across departments
• Collaborate with clients to understand challenges and demonstrate ML/AI value
• Mentor data science and engineering teams
• Stay updated on ML/AI innovations and regulatory considerations
• Interface between business, legal, and technology groups
• Outline ML solution scopes and manage pricing and transitions from sales to delivery
• Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication and project management
• Engage executives to champion enterprise AI adoption
• Assist sales with data opportunities, RFPs, and proposals
