AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to replace a third-party ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline in our AWS environment. You will document logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline to drive client dashboards.

Strong SQL and DSP data expertise are essential, along with experience in AWS data services and collaboration with data science teams to ensure accurate attribution and scoring outputs.

Formación

• 4+ years of strong SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application and backend work beyond pure ETL.
• Familiarity with managed ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran) versus custom builds.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system and ingest from Amazon API and DSP data sources.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf solutions like Fivetran against custom builds with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the standalone, owned pipeline to power client-facing dashboards.
• Provide engineering support for AWS-based application and backend work as needed.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with attribution and scoring for downstream models.
• Operate within the existing AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS).
