Aimpoint Digital is a dynamic and fully remote data and analytics consultancy. We work alongside the most innovative software providers in the data engineering space to solve our clients' toughest business problems.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design end-to-end analytical solutions, build data warehouses and pipelines, and collaborate with clients from data owners to executives, while leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, Fivetran and dbt.

Formación

• Degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.
• 3+ years with relational databases and query languages.
• 3+ years building data pipelines in production across structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• 3+ years data modeling (e.g. star schema, ER).
• 3+ years writing clean, maintainable code in Python, Scala, Java, or similar.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop the analytical layer, building cloud data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and orchestration jobs.
• Write code in SQL, Python, and Spark, and use Git and CI/CD.
• Become a trusted advisor with clients from data owners to executives.
• Work independently on client engagements and contribute to practice development.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
