Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of data and ML pipelines on the Domino Data Lab platform. This role focuses on data engineering and MLOps, building reliable pipelines and managing model lifecycle workflows to keep data and compute infrastructure running smoothly and securely.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience for data engineering and pipeline development.
• Deep SQL skills for extracting, transforming, and optimizing data.
• Hands-on experience with Domino Data Lab platform components.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain dependable data pipelines powering analytics and ML workloads.
• Manage data workflows end-to-end: ingestion, transformation, delivery.
• Oversee compute infrastructure for efficient, secure platform operations.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline performance and data quality issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to meet infra and tooling needs.
• Define best practices for platform usage, pipeline design, and data workflows.
