Perficient is seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst in Bogotá to gather and translate business data requirements into detailed specifications and mappings. You will perform end-to-end STM for migration, integration, and reporting initiatives using Databricks tools.

The role requires 5+ years in data analysis, strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge, and the ability to work with large datasets while collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.
• Strong expertise in SQL development and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Databricks SQL Warehouses, Databricks Genie.
• Experience creating and maintaining Source-to-Target Mapping documentation.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data lifecycle management.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and data mappings.
• Perform end-to-end Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) for data migration, integration, and reporting initiatives.
• Leverage Databricks Genie and Databricks SQL Warehouses to perform data analysis, validation, and insights.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Architects to define data transformation rules.
• Analyze healthcare payer datasets, including member, provider, claims, enrollment, eligibility, and financial data.
• Create data dictionaries, data lineage artifacts, and mapping documents.
• Support UAT and data validation activities.
• Identify data quality issues and remediation strategies with technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams during projects.
• Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Job Description

• Create business process documentation, data dictionaries, data lineage artifacts, and mapping documents.

• Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.
• Strong expertise in SQL development and data analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with:

• Experience creating and maintaining Source‑to‑Target Mapping documentation.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data lifecycle management.
