Sezzle is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. You will own security initiatives, investigate issues, and partner with engineering to implement practical, scalable protections.

This role combines operations and design work, including vulnerability management, SIEM/XDR, and supply chain security.

Formación

• 6+ years in security or infrastructure engineering, with hands-on cloud security experience.
• Hands-on vulnerability management, triage, remediation, and verification.
• Experience with SIEM platforms for detection engineering, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes security practices.
• Experience improving CI/CD hardening and software supply chain security.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and SOC 2 controls and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
• Build, operate, and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities and workflows.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root-cause analysis.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity using logs and telemetry.
• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews to identify early risks.
• Apply deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise to secure cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Drive CI/CD hardening and supply chain risk controls.
• Collaborate with engineering to remediate vulnerabilities and improve secure practices.
