Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with hands-on GCP experience to join our team in Colombia. You will design reliable, scalable data pipelines and support ingestion patterns for complex data systems.

You will onboard new sources, review pull requests, and support CI/CD processes while providing production support and incident handling to keep systems healthy. Strong Linux, Windows, and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience for building and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve data ingestion patterns to support reliable, scalable pipeline performance.
• Onboard new data sources, conduct pull request reviews, and provide CI/CD support.
• Provide production support and handle incident resolution to maintain system stability.
• Maintain monitoring, documentation, and onboarding processes for new engineers.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and a pipeline status dashboard to improve visibility into system health.
