Job summary

FulcrumLATAM is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Architect & Security to own the architecture, security, and reliability of a growing multi-tenant SaaS platform for financial services. You will set architectural direction, establish security standards, and guide the engineering team toward scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud, infra, security or software architecture
• 5+ years hands-on AWS production experience
• Deep AWS architecture, networking, and cloud security expertise
• Strong understanding of VPC design, IAM, security controls
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
• Experience with Cloudflare, WAF, CDN or edge-security tech
• Fintech/regulatory industry experience is valuable
• Professional working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve AWS architecture, networking, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Establish architectural standards and review significant designs before development.
• Own AWS security controls (VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch).
• Manage cloud and edge security (Cloudflare/WAF, TLS, DDoS protection).
• Design secure multi-tenant SaaS architecture (tenant isolation, data, APIs).
• Guide IaC and architectural best practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Oversee SOC 2 Type II controls, audit evidence, remediation, and security docs.
• Collaborate with engineering on secure app and infra design.
• Participate in security reviews, vendor due diligence, pen testing, client discussions.
• Create a prioritized roadmap for architecture, infra, and security improvements.
