Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to serve as Technical Lead for refactoring and enhancing a critical production-grade application. You will improve and evolve an existing C++ codebase while preserving current behavior, guiding the team's technical direction, mentoring engineers, and communicating technical decisions to the client.

You will work with a distributed team, applying best practices in OO design, memory management, and performance optimization to reduce technical debt

Formación

• 5+ years of experience developing production C++ applications.
• Experience with large, legacy, or long-lived enterprise codebases.
• Proven experience refactoring, modernizing, or reducing technical debt.
• Experience leading technical decisions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
• Experience communicating technical decisions to clients or non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of OO design, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience debugging complex systems and performing root cause analysis.
• Solid memory management, performance optimization, and code quality in C++.
• Experience using Git and other source control systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration in distributed teams.
