Zipdev is hiring a Senior C++ Desktop Applications Developer to lead the modernization of legacy UI applications and drive desktop quality. You will architect, implement, and test robust Windows desktop software, while mentoring cross-functional teams and providing accurate estimates and risk assessments.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, R&D leadership, Technical Support, QA, and Product Line Management to resolve complex performance issues and ensure high-quality, well-documented code

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8–10+ years of professional programming and software analysis.
• 8–10+ years of hands-on C++ experience with Microsoft C++.
• Deep experience designing, modernizing, and testing desktop Windows applications.
• Proven track record modernizing legacy UI and refactoring old desktop code.
• Good knowledge of ISAM, database design concepts, and SQL.
• Advanced experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, self-management and customer-facing communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead modernization of legacy UI applications and drive desktop quality.
• Architect, maintain and enhance Windows desktop applications.
• Establish test strategies and drive unit testing for modern and legacy environments.
• Provide estimation, risk assessments, and drive planning.
• Lead code/design/test reviews and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Support, QA and Product Management to resolve issues.
• Produce technical specs, system designs and high-level feature descriptions.
