Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst in Bogotá to drive energy project development and oversee connection studies. You will collaborate across locations, manage negotiations, and ensure licenses and site evaluations are completed meticulously.

Applicants should have 6–8 years of experience, an engineering degree in a related field, and a proven track record in fieldwork, land management, and project management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Civil, or related Engineering is required.
• 6–8 years of experience in energy project development/construction, preferably renewables.
• Strong knowledge of connection study methodologies, contractual procedures, and site evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and ensure the quality of connection studies for multiple new projects.
• Lead management and negotiation of connection contract subscriptions.
• Direct processes for obtaining licenses for construction and public space occupation.
• Supervise and optimize meteorological measurement campaigns.
• Coordinate with property teams to identify and secure land for development.
• Assess and resolve technical constraints in project design and construction.
• Identify strategic opportunities for new connections and project development.
• Lead and validate initial feasibility studies for developing projects.
• Develop and review basic engineering and layouts for all assigned projects.
• Support and mentor junior staff; perform additional tasks as required.

Education & Certifications

• Advanced knowledge of connection study methodologies, contractual procedures (STN, STR, SDL), and site evaluation.
• Skilled in Excel, Google Earth, and project management tools.
• Experience in negotiation, permitting, and technical documentation.
• Proven track record in fieldwork, measurement, and land management.
• Strong leadership, organization, and mentorship skills.
• Excellent analytical and technical judgement.
• Clear communicator and effective collaborator.
• High accountability and drive for continuous improvement.
