Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking a Business Analyst to turn business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You'll sit between clients, our product team, and engineers: running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring what we ship solves the intended problem.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst on software projects.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong discovery and process-mapping skills with data modeling basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews to understand goals and pain points.
• Document current and future-state processes and rules.
• Break scope into epics and stories for estimation by engineering.
• Identify assumptions, risks and open questions early and drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog.
• Collaborate with UI/UX design in Figma to align flows and screens.
• Answer engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current.
• Work with QA to ensure acceptance criteria map to test coverage.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Keep requirements documentation organized in Google Drive.
