Join BairesDev as a Senior BI Engineer, where you will own the full BI lifecycle from data pipelines to dashboards. You will craft robust ETL/ELT processes in Python, design semantic data models for Power BI/Fabric, and deliver polished reports with advanced DAX.

You’ll collaborate across teams and leverage modern CI/CD for BI in a globally distributed, 100% remote environment. You bring 5+ years in BI or data engineering, strong Python skills, data modeling expertise, and fluency in English.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in BI or data engineering.
• Proficient in Python for ETL/ELT with Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas and REST APIs.
• Experience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake) and semantic layers in Power BI/Fabric.
• Strong Power BI and DAX skills.
• Advanced SQL skills (SQL Server or equivalent).
• CI/CD for BI using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience building data quality and validation frameworks.
• Advanced English.

Senior BI Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build ETL/ELT pipelines in Python that feed well-structured data models, powering the semantic layer behind meaningful business intelligence. Working across data modeling and Power BI, you'll ensure that KPIs and metrics reflect the underlying data accurately, from pipeline to dashboard. What You'll Do

• Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Python using Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas, and REST API integrations.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in BI or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for ETL/ELT, including Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas, and REST API integrations.
• Experience with data modeling, including Star/Snowflake schemas and semantic layer design in Power BI/Fabric.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong DAX skills, including complex measures, KPIs, and calculated columns.

• Background building data quality and validation frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with Power Query (M) transformations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including Direct Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
