Capgemini Engineering is seeking a backend-focused software developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems across a cloud-native stack. You will work with Java/Kotlin, AWS services, and modern databases, contributing to architecture and reviews while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

The role emphasizes modern GraphQL APIs, resilient microservices, and hands-on coding, testing, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 3–5 years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas (NoSQL).
• Experience with Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Spring Boot experience.
• GraphQL API development using Netflix DGS.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Strong English communication and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work as needed.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and design through data and experimentation.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Clarify requirements and perform mid-level design with coding, testing, and documentation.
