Truelogic is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and own production backend services as part of a major platform modernization initiative. You will replace CMS capabilities with independently owned services, starting with authentication and identity, for a headless frontend and other digital products.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of production services.
• Strong experience with Java and Go, including production use.
• Hands-on with AWS and Google Cloud, including managed services.
• Strong API design and distributed systems experience (REST/GraphQL/gRPC).
• Experience with authentication and identity systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO).
• Experience migrating services away from third-party CMS or legacy platforms.
• Knowledge of production observability, logging, metrics, tracing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and own production-grade backend services to modernize platforms.
• Lead the design of authentication and identity services including session and token management.
• Define and implement APIs to support headless frontend and digital products.
• Design solutions using REST, GraphQL, and/or gRPC and distributed systems principles.
• Plan and execute service migrations with minimal disruption to users.
• Build and operate cloud-native services across AWS and Google Cloud.
• Ensure backend services meet reliability, scalability, performance, and observability requirements.
• Implement logging, metrics, and distributed tracing for production services.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering Manager and stakeholders on strategy and decisions.
• Mentor a mid-level engineer and contribute to engineering standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted development workflows across engineering processes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve backend architecture and development practices.
