Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Colombia is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to shape automation strategy and quality practices across a large-scale game development lifecycle. You will lead a small QA team, expand automated coverage, and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex issues.

You will define test strategy, drive automation direction, and sustain scalable framework architecture while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software testing.
• 2+ years of automated testing or scripting.
• Strong C++ proficiency for test automation and troubleshooting.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and test plans across the full development lifecycle.
• Lead automation direction and prioritize technical objectives to meet quality goals.
• Build and extend automated test suites using existing frameworks and tooling.
• Maintain and improve test automation framework architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Execute and oversee regression cycles, including targeted manual playthroughs.
• Drive defect triage and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues.
• Align with production and engineering on technical requirements and quality risks.
• Communicate findings as clear, actionable insights to keep delivery on track.
• Coach and mentor a small QA team on tools, standards, and best practices.
