Job summary

Danescor Limited is seeking a Senior Associate to join its M&A advisory team in a global, fast-moving environment. You will lead buy-side CDaaS programmes and sell-side mandates from strategy through execution, coordinating cross-border teams and senior stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in M&A or management consulting, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication with a team mindset; MBA or CA/CFA qualifications are advantageous.

Danescor is an M&A advisory firm delivering Corporate Development as a Service (CDaaS), scalable, buy-side M&A origination and execution provided as an embedded extension of our clients' teams, on a retainer, with no success fees. Our CDaaS programme combines three integrated capabilities, market mapping, proprietary deal origination, and fractional corporate development, and is complemented by a sell-side advisory practice for founder-owned businesses. The Role

We are looking for ambitious, high-calibre, team-oriented professionals to join us as Senior Associates. You will bring a demonstrable track record with leading client engagements from start to finish, advising throughout and driving each transaction to successful completion. You will be comfortable managing professional-services teams and resources across geographies and running multiple transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to evidence experience against the following:

• Lead client engagements end to end across buy-side CDaaS programmes (market mapping, deal origination, and fractional execution) and sell-side mandates, covering:
  • Strategy: working with clients on building and refining their M&A strategy
  • Research: leading target / buyer universe research and profiling
  • Deal origination: leading pipeline management, including outreach campaigns and interactions with identified counterparties.
  • Target evaluation: applying expert financial modelling and valuation skills to deliver high-quality client work.
  • Deal execution: negotiating offers, and managing due diligence projects
• Manage geographically dispersed teams to hit project milestones and deadlines and provide structured training and development to junior colleagues.
• Take full ownership and accountability for client engagements, ensuring quality across every workstream.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's (MBA or equivalent) and/or professional qualification (CA, CFA, etc.) is advantageous.
• 5+ years of relevant M&A or management consulting experience.
• An ambitious self-starter with excellent communication skills and a genuine team mentality.
• Comfortable in an agile, fast-moving, global environment with a can-do attitude.
