Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain business-critical applications that support complex operations across the firm. You will act as a technical SME, translating business needs into scalable software and leading development from requirements to implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively complex application development experience.
• Experience with relational database design.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#, VB.NET/ASP.NET, or related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems across platforms.
• Lead the technical consultative process between users and IT staff.
• Prepare scope docs, requirements specs, and statements of work; manage approvals.
• Coordinate with external clients on project status, planning, and testing.
• Resolve defects and support applications with documented corrective actions.
• Assist with prioritization by gathering requirements and estimating effort.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members to improve capabilities.
