ScotiaGBS, Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Senior Analyst in Third Party Risk Management. You will support onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing assessments of vendors while coordinating with control functions and contract owners to ensure timely reviews and compliant processes.

The role requires 1+ years of TPRM experience, a university degree in business or finance, and strong English communication. Hybrid work options in Bogota are available, with a focus on maintaining governance and risk

Formación

• 1+ years’ experience in Third Party Risk Management.
• University degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Experience with regulatory/risk related efforts is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to guide decisions and facilitate consensus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing third-party relationships and lifecycle (onboarding, assessments, renewals).
• Maintain proactive relationships with Contract Owners and vendors.
• Respond to information requests from internal/external stakeholders.
• Monitor changes in Third Party Risk and update policies and controls.
• Collaborate with business units, operations, technology, risk management and other stakeholders.

Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of Business Risk Management, Third Party Risk Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Assists in providing effective management of our third-party relationships and all aspects of the vendor & service management lifecycle, including:
  • Third party service due diligence & risk assessments (onboarding and re-assessments)
  • Working closely with Control Functions to ensure reviews are done timely
  • Onboarding, Offboarding and Contract Renewal support for third-party vendors
• Maintain an ongoing and proactive business relationship with internal Contract Owners and the Bank’s third-party vendors
• Respond to requests from both internal and external stakeholders for information and documentation on our third party relationships
• Maintain a high level of awareness of related changes and developments in Third Party Risk through the review of publications, seminars, employee training, etc., and develop and enhance policies, procedures and controls
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations
• Partners with business units, operations, technology, risk management and other stakeholders to understand the business environment, evolving business priorities, and obtain key data and information

Education / Experience / Other Information

• 1+ years’ experience in Third Party Risk Management
• University degree in business, finance, other related field;
• Experience with regulatory/risk related efforts is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to guide decision making process and facilitate consensus;
• Proven problem solving skills and experience;
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Business Lines, Supervisors and other stakeholders.
• Good project management skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to write procedures and train others on Firm processes
• Excellent command of English (reading, writing and speaking skills).
